Halton Waldorf School is pleased to offer a summer camp inspired by our love of Waldorf education. Your child will be immersed in the natural world within our 5 acres of forest land, warm breezes and sunshine, along with a balance of engaging games, crafts, skill-building and arts. Our camp program is proudly managed by Halton Waldorf School faculty members and early childhood educators.
Junior Camp (ages 4-6) Sold Out & Wait List Full
Enjoy a play-based curriculum interwoven with crafts and outdoor activities. The leaders of the camp are experienced Waldorf early childhood educators.

Celebrate the joys of summer through a variety of stimulating crafts and activities, exploration in nature, music and co-operative games. The leaders of the camp are experienced Waldorf teachers who will provide the structure and leadership for a unique camp experience.

Our camp registration terms and policies have been revised this year to meet the needs of our COVID-19 protocols. We ask that families carefully review the registration package.
If our school is mandated to shut-down during camp, refunds will apply for days included in the closure.
Payment is non-refundable for all cancellations made less than two weeks before start date. An administrative fee of $50 will be charged for refund requests that are received prior to two weeks of the start date. The registration form must be completed, and full payment made to reserve a spot at camp.
Applicants are accepted on a first-received basis. Please make cheques payable to the Halton Waldorf School. Payment can be dropped off at the school or mailed to Halton Waldorf School, 2193 Orchard Road, Burlington, Ontario L7R 7J8.
We can also accept debit. Please call the school to pay by debit. The debit machine will be brought outside to you to process payment.
Families enrolled at HWS also have the option to process payment online via your School-Day account.
Our camp has always been primarily an outdoor program; however this year outdoor time will encompass most of the children’s days. We’re excited to offer a fun summer camp experience that will align with any new provincial and regional public health and safety guidelines.
Masks are suggested however will not be a requirement of our Junior Campers (ages 4 to 6). Masks are to be worn by our Senior Campers (ages 7 to 11), apart from children with documented exemptions. Mask breaks will be provided at times where the children can maintain a physical distance of at least 2 meters. Children will be kept in cohorts during their camp week (up to 16 children per group).
What to Bring to Camp
A nut-free lunch, snack and beverage; additional food for aftercare time if applicable
Sunscreen and a hat, bug spray
A hat for every day; rain hat for rain, sun hat for sun!
Clothes for all weather, plus change of clothes.
Daily COVID screening will be a requirement of attending camp. Halton Waldorf School is not able to offer refunds for missed days of camp, this includes when children are unwell or screened out from attending camp.
