Halton Waldorf High School

STUDENTS LEARN ON CAMPUS! 5 DAYS A WEEK

We inspire true engagement in learning: rigorous academics are brought to life through exploration, inquiry, and experience in order to promote critical, independent thinking. Our academic curriculum is inspired by opportunities in the arts, music, drama, movement, and real-world experiences.

Students become part of a cohort of dynamic peers, supported by an engaged and accessible faculty, to create a strong community that values integrity, honesty, and empathy for and understanding of others.

Photo from January 2021 - The space in which the art of education is realized between teachers and pupils is not a work of art in itself but the architecture of Waldorf schools can create a framework where teaching becomes possible as an artistic process. Careful consideration is given to floor plans, ceiling designs and the shapes of Waldorf classrooms and schools.

Second Campus Update

After some delays at the beginning of the pandemic, work continues to be progressing rapidly with our new high school campus. We are grateful to to those who have been instrumental in keeping the momentum going! We are happy to report that we are still on budget and on schedule for completion this summer.

  • Our team has been diligent and dedicated on the final phase of the development since March. Work has been continuous and lately has been busy with connecting site services to the building.

  • Ms Pigott was working closely with the team over the last few weeks, finalizing the installation plan and equipment for the new science lab!

  • The school received an $18,000 grant this month, in support of high school fixtures and furniture. Thank you to the Cawthra Mulock Foundation for their unwavering support of our second campus!

  • Many of our Orchard neighbours have commented on how the design and scale of the building blends nicely into the neighbourhood.
