Elizabeth joined the school in September 1999 after a career in England working as an art therapist with an anthroposophical doctor. At Halton Waldorf she teaches art therapy and art classes to children and adults and also teaches privately in Guelph.
Elizabeth attended Michael Hall Rudolf Steiner School, U.K. and graduated from Kent and Canterbury Teaching Hospital as a radiation therapist (MRSR/T). She lived and worked in Greece for 25 years, having trained as an art therapist at Tobias School of Art Therapy. Music is also a great love, and she has been a member of the Guelph Community Choir for five years.
In class teaching the art work revolves around the main lesson blocks and Elizabeth finds a constant source of inspiration in the superior quality of students’ creations. She cherishes the children in her care, creating a warm, friendly and trusting environment for them to explore their feelings.
