Alla joined HWS in 2016 as a grade one and two teacher in our optional afternoon program. A mother of three, she has been a part of our community since 2013 when she began participating in the Parent and Child Program. She fell in love with the school and Waldorf pedagogy and decided to proceed with studies in Anthroposophy and Waldorf teacher training.
Alla grew up in Riga, Latvia. She holds a master’s degree in Second Language Acquisition from the University of Greenwich and completed a course in Language Teaching at the University of Oxford. Working as a Russian and English teacher for over ten years, Alla’s passion for teaching has gradually shifted towards working with young children. She believes that early childhood is an extremely precious and important part of our life and is honoured to be a part of this process as both a mother and teacher.
Alla’s hobbies include martial arts, photography, knitting, crocheting and doll making.
