Administrator
The Halton Waldorf School is seeking a full time experienced Administrator to begin in July 2013.
The Administrator carries out the tasks required for the operation of the school on a daily and annual basis in order to advance the mission and strategic plan of the school. Main areas of responsibility include finance management, enrollment management, building maintenance and health & safety. The Administrator will oversee all administrative functions and manage the administrative team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, inter-personal and time management skills and a demonstrated history of management/leadership responsibility in an educational setting. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to collaboration, objectivity, relationship building and conflict resolution. Waldorf Administration training and/or a background in Waldorf philosophy would be an asset. Candidates must have or be willing to complete Ontario Health and Safety Certification and First Aid.
The Halton Waldorf School was founded in 1984 and is accredited through AWSNA. We have over 160 students from Parent and Child to Grade Eight, an outstanding faculty and staff of 25, and are supported by an enthusiastic parent body and Board of Directors.
The Halton Waldorf School is situated on five wooded acres in northeast Burlington, close to the natural wonders of the Niagara Escarpment and the shores of Lake Ontario.
