EURYTHMY TEACHER 

The Halton Waldorf School is inviting applications for a eurythmy teacher for September 2014. The 

position will include kindergarten through grade 8 as well as occasional work with faculty and parents. 

Pedagogical eurythmy experience is a prerequisite for this position.

 

The Halton Waldorf School was founded in 1984 and is a full member of AWSNA. We have 17 students 

from parent and child to grade eight and an outstanding faculty and staff of 25. We are an established, 

thriving school offering a full Waldorf curriculum including French, German, art, handwork, woodwork, 

and physical education. Our faculty is grounded in a commitment to anthroposophy and we have an 

enthusiastic and supportive parent body and board of directors. The school has an art therapist and 

therapeutic eurythmist on staff and the faculty is deeply committed to music and the arts. Our eurythmy 

space is equipped with a sprung floor.

 

We are situated on five acres in northeast Burlington only minutes away from the natural wonders of the

KINDERGARTEN ASSISTANT POSITION 

The Halton Waldorf School is seeking a Kindergarten Assistant for September 2014. 

 

The Kindergarten Assistant will support the Lead Kindergarten Teacher in the classroom. Other duties 

may include attending parent evenings; participation in Early Childhood meetings and participation in 

special Kindergarten events which may occur on weekends/evenings throughout the year.

LEAD KINDERGARTEN TEACHER POSTION

The Halton Waldorf School is inviting applications for a full-time Lead Kindergarten teacher for 

September 2014.

 

Our ideal candidate will have Waldorf early childhood teacher training and prior 

teaching experience. The teacher will work collaboratively with an assistant in either our junior or senior 

kindergarten. We are seeking candidates who are committed to the values of Waldorf education, a teacher 

who is joyful and warm, with strong interpersonal communication skills, effective classroom management, 

and enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
