Grade 4 students visit Crawford Lake
As an important part of our school’s hands-on approach to learning, field trips provide real-life experience that bring lessons and our curriculum to life.
Mid-way through autumn 2015, our grade four students travelled to Halton Conservation’s Crawford Lake to learn more about local geography and First Nations history.
The children learned that Crawford Lake is a rare meromictic lake and they were able to experience the lifestyle of 15th century Iroquoian in a reconstructed longhouse and village.
