2016 – Adam Bienenstock, “Connecting our Children to Nature”

Adam is an award winning consultant on the design and construction of natural playgrounds that connect children and communities to nature. A prolific writer and speaker, Adam has delivered keynote speeches and workshops across North America, New Zealand, and Australia.


2015 – Ronald Morrish, “Raising Responsible Children”

Ronald Morrish has been an educator and behavior specialist since 1972. He was a teacher with the District School Board of Niagara in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, for 26 years. During that time, he taught regular education and special education classes, was a learning resource teacher and spent 16 years as the Board’s behavior specialist. In 1997, he became an independent consultant. In addition to presenting at conferences, Mr. Morrish provides professional development programs for teachers and speaks to parent groups and child care providers, internationally.


2014 – Dick O’Brien, “Raising Resilient Children”

Dick is a professional speaker and consultant. He has worked as a therapist and trainer for over 30 years. This presentation offered guidelines on how to encourage children to respond to life in a healthy way. How do we educate children to be life-long learners and to succeed in a variety of environments? Developing personal resiliency is one of the important tools we can cultivate in the 21st century.


2013 – Michael Reist, “Raising Emotionally Healthy Children”

Michael is a popular public speak whose work has been featured in national media such as CBC TV and Radio, TV Ontario, Today’s Parent Magazine, The Globe & Mail and The Toronto Star. A father of four, Michael has over 30 years experience as a secondary school teacher and publishes widely on topics ranging from education, spirituality and parenting to the impact of movies and pop culture on the classroom. His newest book, What Every Parent Should Know About School, is now widely available. www.michaelreist.ca
